Student Loan Balances

There are many benefits of student loan consolidation. When you consolidate your student loans, you can lock in low interest rates, reduce your monthly payments, simplify your life, and improve your credit score. In the coming weeks, we will be looking at each of the benefits in more depth.

As you probably know, credit scores play a major role in determining whether or not you get an apartment, house, car, cellular phone - the list goes on indefinitely. It's your way of showing companies that you are trustworthy and reliable enough to make consistent and timely payments on acquisitions that are more expensive. Having a bad credit score taints you, jeopardizing your chances of being approved by creditors.

Credit scores are negatively affected by late payments, incomplete or partial payments, defaults, and judgments and liens. The score can be broken down into several components: 35 percent of your score depends on your payment history; 30 percent, on your outstanding debt; 15 percent, the length of your credit history; 10 percent, recent inquiries on your credit report; and 10 percent, the types of credit your currently use.

Because a student loan is money owed, it adversely affects your payment history and your outstanding debt, which comprises 65 percent of your total credit score. This, of course, may be debilitating to your credit.

Stafford loans, which are the most common type of student loans, are often issued in subsidized and unsubsidized portions. An undergraduate student could graduate with as many as four subsidized Stafford loans and four unsubsidized Stafford Loans, totaling eight separate loans. Furthermore, most students don't make payments on their loans until after they graduate.

In summation, undergraduate students may have eight loans in four years without a single payment.

Graduate students who use loans to finance their educations leave school with advanced degrees and even more unconsolidated debt.

Obviously, there are extenuating circumstances. How can you, as a student, be expected to pay off your debts? You've been concentrating on schoolwork. How can a full-time student work full-time? Lenders recognize this and often offer grace periods, which exempt students from repayment for a few months after graduation.

Unfortunately, computers are responsible for calculating credit reports. For calculating machines, numbers are numbers, regardless of how compelling your story may be. Eight loans, four years, and no payments make a horrible combination.

A lesser-known benefit of consolidation is the fact that it improves your credit score. When you consolidate, your new lender pays off all of your eight loans, and then opens up one new consolidation loan. When a computer calculates your credit score, it will see this: eight loans paid in full. You will look like a responsible and trustworthy borrower.

Consolidation increases your credit score because it pays off all your old loans and reduces your number of open accounts.

And also, factor in that you will lose the deduction that comes with student loan interest, despite gaining a tax deduction for the paid interest on your home equity loan. The ideal thing to do here is to calculate, by crunching numbers, which loan option would best suit you in the long run. Make sure that you understand your options, as well as the ups and downs of home equity loan use to pay off your student loan balances.

College Students loan

As many college students go through the rigors and necessary steps to finish their educations, once they're done and successfully graduated, they know it's time to start their own, independent lives. With school out of the way, jobs on the horizon and a bright future ahead many will be seeking to purchase their own homes - if not right away, sometime down the line. Going with the assumption that students will in fact buy a home within a 5 year span of graduating, they're probably also looking to satisfy their student loan balances within that time frame. Here is where opportunity lies.

If such a situation exists for you, where student loans need to be paid and you now own a home, there is a way in which you can use your new home to pay off your student loans. How, you might ask? Well, it's simply a matter of using a home equity loan to pay off your student loans, and quite quickly too.

Shortening Student Loan Pay off Through A Home Equity Loan

It's no surprise that most students coming out of college feel that paying off their student loans will be a long haul. Yet, to your delight, as many other students', there is a quicker solution to rid your self of student debt – through managing your debt responsibly and considering using a home equity loan. Considering here is mentioned merely because using a home equity loan to pay off your student loans is a two-sided financial action, having both ups and downs, defined pros and cons.

Take Into Mind Home Equity Loan Perks

When looked at and reviewed initially, it would seem that consolidating your student loans into a home equity loan would be a wise decision, one with little to think or worry about. This is so due to how home equity loans work. Since these types of loans essentially use your newly owned property as collateral, banks are able to offer much lower rates than the majority of what private student loans would. This is a saving grace, in more ways than one. Financially, you'll save literally thousands of dollars (via long-term interest payments), not to mention benefiting from added tax perks. And better still, in terms of lowering your total expenditures, home equity loans are tax-deductible.

But, Also, Consider The Pitfalls of Using A Home Equity Loan

It's clear that utilizing a home equity loan to pay off student loan debt is beneficial, yet it is still a bold and weighted move. Know that using a home equity loan isn't 100 percent without caution. Firstly, it's paramount to mention again that your house is used as collateral, which could be to your detriment, especially if rough times unexpectedly pop up, which could cause you to have to default on your mortgage. This could cause you to lose your home, which would be an awful thing to deal with. By: E.s. Cromwell

Student Loan Consolidation

Today, student loans allow many who would otherwise be unable to afford the costs of higher learning the ability to obtain a college education. College loans are ideal in that they do not require the student to begin repayment until after graduation, which means there is more time to focus on studying and less time worrying about paying for an education. The best way to learn about student loans is to speak with the admissions office at your college of choice and/or request an application.

After years of studying and working toward a degree that will push students toward a bright future, graduation time finally arrives. Along with it, the start of repayment on college loans. Many young adults graduate with the desire to relocate, find employment or get married and, often, the student loan debt facing them seems overwhelming. Luckily, student loan consolidation plans are available to help if payments should ever fall behind or become impossible to maintain.

Speaking of falling behind, one of the most common reasons that individuals request a consolidation for their college loans is because they are in default. Student loans cannot be discharged in bankruptcy and, when in default, the only way to regain control of this type of debt is often through a student loan consolidation. If college loans remain in default, or go unpaid, for a long period of time, a wage garnishment may be pursued to ensure collection of the debt.

There are many benefits to requesting a student loan consolidation, including the ability to sometimes reduce payments by as much as 50% or receive a fixed rate for the life of the loan. Most student loan consolidation programs require no application fee and, in some cases, no credit check. Lenders may have different policies and/or fees relating to student loan consolidation, so be sure to ask any questions that you may have prior to signing any documents or submitting an application.

If you are considering college or have a child who is approaching their senior year in high school, now may be the time to start thinking about applying for student loans. Some students work full time and attempt to study just to afford an education. While this approach shows great resolve, it often results in a student who has little time to learn and feels as though he/she is being stretched too thin. Student loans are designed to help degree seekers take the time to experience the wonderful journey of college without the stress of worrying about how to pay for it.

Google content network

The Google content network now accepts display ads served from qualified third-party vendors. Third-party ad serving has been a longstanding request from top brand AdWords advertisers who use third parties to create and manage their online campaigns. Initially, we will be only accepting third-party ads in English, but we hope to expand to other languages soon.

Making the Google content network more accessible to large brand advertisers also benefits AdSense publishers and end users. Third-party ad serving will introduce a greater variety of advertising into the Google content network, increase the inventory of quality display ads competing to show on AdSense publisher sites, and offer more engaging ads for end users. In the long run, we believe the increased inventory and ad competition will result in increased revenue for many AdSense publishers.

Rest assured that ad quality on the content network will remain one of our highest priorities. Only advertisers with whom we have proven relationships and who've clearly demonstrated commitments to our quality standards may participate in this program. And our policies governing ad content and formatting are unchanged.

How to control third-party ads show on your site
The same ad management features for Google ads also apply to third-party ads. You can use the Ad Review Center to filter specific placement-targeted ads from appearing on your site. To block contextually-targeted ads from a given advertiser, you can use the Competitive Ad Filter. (The Ad Review Center currently only shows placement-targeted ads, not contextually-targeted ads.)

Optimizing your site to allow third-party ads
To allow third-party ads on your site:

1. Opt into image ads - Currently, third-party ads are only available in image or Flash, so they won't appear in text-only ad units.

2. Enable advertisers to target your AdSense channels - Most advertisers who use third-party ads are brand-conscious. They prefer to specify websites where their ads will appear in order to optimize the targeting and effectiveness of their campaigns.

3. Opt into placement targeting - Placement targeting will allow advertisers to target their ads specifically to your site.

Following these steps will enable your site to accept third-party ads. However, we can't guarantee where or when third-party ads will appear on your site.

Google Adsense on Wordpress Blogs

While Wordpress itself is a robust and complete blogging system, to really maximize the software and make money from Google Adsense you'll need to install and use a couple of Adsense "plugins".

Most of the plugins can be found by doing a search on Google, and installation is simple and straightforward. All you need to do is upload the plugin to your web host using an FTP, and activate the plugin inside your Wordpress administration area...

1) Adsense Deluxe Wordpress Plugin

The first and most important is a plugin called "Adsense Deluxe". While this plugin will help you to display Adsense ads on your blog, it also serves other purposes. You can use this plugin to insert Javascript, PHP and almost any other type of code into your blog posts.

The Adsense Deluxe plugin will allow you to insert Adsense ads into your blog posts by including a simple code like this:

You can create multiple ad formats in the plugin's settings page, and you can always change these later without having to modify the individual blog posts. This makes it easy to test different ad formats over time, and also to replace your Adsense codes with other ads if the need arises.

2) Adsense Injection Wordpress Plugin

Unlike the Adsense Deluxe plugin, the "Adsense Injection" plugin will insert Adsense codes automatically into every blog post, including older posts.

This is great if your blog already has a lot of existing content, and you don't want to insert codes manually into all of them. As the name suggests, when you use Adsense Injection you "inject" your Adsense codes automatically and randomly into all previous and future blog posts.

Thus, you will not have to worry about what's called "ad blindness" as your Adsense blocks will appear in different positions within your content. You can also randomize different ad formats and different alignments to make sure that no two pages have the exact Adsense codes on them.

Unlike the Adsense Deluxe plugin however, the Adsense Injection plugin cannot display other Javascript ads or PHP codes.

3) Adsense Beautifier Wordpress Plugin

The Adsense Beautifier plugin just makes your ads prettier. By adding an image on top or next to your Adsense codes automatically, the plugin can help you to achieve a higher CTR (click-through) and ultimately higher Adsense earnings.

The images are generic so you can use them with any type of content. You can also create and upload your own images to be used with the Adsense Beautifier plugin. If you do this however, make sure you check with the Adsense support team as you don't want to violate any of their terms of service.

And after you get the hang of it, it will be easier and easier to deal with. Sometimes you don't even know where to start when it comes to advertisers but with Adsense, you don't have to worry about all that.

Another benefit of Adsense is that you really have nothing to worry about. You set it up and then let it do what it does. You won't have to worry about maintenance problems, or adapting to all of your topics. You should probably pay attention to these details, but you definitely do not have to. This way you don't have to go out and find advertisers and try to get them to put ads on your blog. Adsense does all the dirty work for you and it takes only a few moments to get it up and running.

This may be a huge benefit for some who have had problems in the past with advertisers. There are many more benefits than these, but it all depends on the blog and what you are looking for. Adsense Page Positioning

Correct positioning of your Google adsense ads can make or break your success with the Google adsense program. Why is this true? Some studies suggest that eye positioning on website gravitate to particular sections of web pages. And if you don’t have the necessary ads in these positions you will not get the clicks....

I talked to countless people that have great traffic, some with 300 to 1000 new visitors a day that say that they only make approx. at max $10 to $20 dollars a month on the adsense program. What a shame. But when I look at their websites the ads are either buried in wording that no one usually pays attention to or the ads are located in positions that just don’t call any attention to their presence.

So were the best locations for you Google adsense ads. Well, I have found the number one best place for the ads are near or in proximity to your main menu. Why near your main menu. Because you know that visitors eyes will and always look for the menu structure of your website. So the common places for placement should be to the top right, the very top under your menu, or the top left. These are the most common locations for you main menu.

But what about the color scheme of the Google adsense ads? Yes, color is very important. You have to make the ads looks as seamless as possible. Here is an example on one of my website http://www.pottery-barn-outlet.com. Here I decided to position the ads at the very top right under my main menu. In direct eye contact. Also, remove the borders; just these two changes will increase your adsense proceeds one hundred percent.

By using these tactics I was able to increase my adsense click through rate significantly depending on traffic level and people's interest.

Take my advice and give it try. I believe you will see a change and hopefully make adsense a more pleasurable experience.

Widget for Monetizing Your Blog

f you are interested in monetizing your blogging, adding adsense to your blog is very important. Where you place your adsense does impact the number of clicks you get.

Many people place their adsense on the right column or at the top. This may lead to ad blindness which occurs when you look at the same format over and over again. They know those listings are advertisements and unconsciously filter them out.....

A good way to overcome ad blindness is to put adsense in unexpected places. So you might want to experiment with placing your ads between posts. This placement is in the natural flow of text which may lead to a greater amount of clicks on your ads.

Have you wanted to insert your Google adsense between your blog posts without complicated coding instructions? You are in luck. Apparently, there is enough of you out there wanting to insert adsense, that Google has now developed a new adsense widget. You can add your adsense between your blog post just the same way you add adsense to other areas of your blog.

Google has a new post titled "Get Inline" at their adsense blog at adsense.blogspot.com. They show how to add adsense. It is really easy to do like everything else on Blogger.

This is what you need to do:

1. Log into your Blogger account. 2. Go to your blog's template tab and click on "page elements" link. 3. Go to "blog posts" and click on "edit" located on the lower right corner. 4. Under "select items" check the "show ads between posts" box. 5. Under "configure inline ads" you can select how often you want your adsense to appear. For example, you can them appear after every post or after every other post. 6. Next, you can customize your adsense such as choosing format and colors. 7. Most important, save your changes.

Since Google now owns Blogger, Google is becoming responsive to input from Blogger's users. Hopefully, we may see more changes and improvements to Blogger as feedback to Google continues.

Many people place their adsense on the right column or at the top. This may lead to ad blindness which occurs when you look at the same format over and over again. They know those listings are advertisements and unconsciously filter them out.

A good way to overcome ad blindness is to put adsense in unexpected places. So you might want to experiment with placing your ads between posts. This placement is in the natural flow of text which may lead to a greater amount of clicks on your ads.

You need to follow Google's term of service for adsense placement. You can be banned if you break the rules. You are allowed to have only three ad units per page. However, Blogger makes easy to follow the rules by allowing a maximum of three ad units in the blog post. So, you will not exceed the maximum limit if you add adsense between blog posts. You just cannot go on to add adsense anywhere else on your blog.

Google AdSense Adventure

Join me on my AdSense Adventure, I'll be trying different AdSense tips & tricks. This will be a little different than all the other 'get rich quick' guides: instead of telling you what to do I let you watch me try it all...

Let me tell you about my trial and error path trying to make some money with Google AdSense. I’m sure you’ve seen a lot of websites on this subject already. Many of them tell you how you can make a 6 figure income with only a couple of hours work a week. They will even tell you exactly how to achieve this. Just buy their e-book and you’ll have all the tips and tricks from the pros.

I’m quite skeptical about these offers. Doing my own research on the Google AdSense™ subject, I’ve found quite a few people who paid for the e-book but are very unhappy about it. They all tell me that the information they paid for was very useful, but is also freely available. The great thing about the Internet is that you can find information on any subject for free. It’s not allways easy to find the information you are looking for, but if you know how and where to search you can find almost anything. If you are not very skilled in finding information on the 'net maybe you should just go ahead and buy the e-book but keep in mind that the e-book will be the author's view on the subject. Your own search will give you a better view of the big picture. Of course, finding the information will take some effort and time. To me the search for information is Join me on my AdSense Adventure, I'll be trying different AdSense tips & tricks. This will be a little different than all the other 'get rich quick' guides: instead of telling you what to do I let you watch me try it all..."part of the adventure, a part that I don’t want to skip.

So lets get rich with Google AdSense™! Ok, back to reallity: do you really think you can get a 6 figure income from Google AdSense™? I’m sure some people do make a small fortune with AdSense™ but I bet it takes a lot more work then those e-book writers tell you.

I registered with Google AdSense™ back in December 2004. After one year my total earnings had reached $25. Yes I know that is about the price of the amount of beer you drink in one hour at the bar. Still this has been easy money: I don’t think it took me more than 20 minutes to sign up with Google and add the AdSense™ code to my website.

This year will be different: I will try to get some serious income from AdSense™. I’m not expecting a 6 figure income and I’m not giving up my job. My goal is to get a check from Google every month (for those of you who don’t know, Google sends out checks each month to people who have made over $100).

Topic for Your Adsense Blog

So you’ve decided to create a blog, and include Adsense ads so you can generate revenue from your blog. The amount of money you make from your Adsense ads depends on a number of factors, but one of the most important factors is the topic you choose for your Adsense blog. A good topic attracts lots of visitors, so you will receive a high number of Adsense clicks, which translates to more money in your pocket....

How do you choose a topic for your Adsense blog that will increase your income? Here are some ways to choose a topic that will be appealing to your readers, and will make you a substantial amount of money along the way. One way to choose a topic for your Adsense blog is to read entertainment and news websites to see what subjects people are interested in. If you notice that a particular topic appears numerous times on these types of websites, you can be sure that people will be interested in reading and subscribing to a blog on that topic.

Bear in mind that when you use this strategy, you will probably need to revise the theme of your blog frequently, because today’s hot news topics will likely fade from the public eye within a span of a few weeks. If you like to stay on top of current news events and don’t mind changing the focus of your blog on a frequent basis, this can be a good way to choose a topic for your Adsense blog.

If you don’t want to spend your time chasing the latest news stories, a second way to choose a topic for your Adsense blog is to think about your own interests and hobbies. If you think about it, you probably have at least one interest or hobby that would make a good niche blog. Regardless of whether you’re into kayaking, skiing, or Norwegian heavy metal music, you can likely find a loyal audience that will read your blog every day. Building a loyal audience will be important to helping you increase your Adsense revenue, because they will know and understand that your Adsense ads allow you to continue writing your blog. Thus, they will be willing to click on the Adsense ad links to help you make sure you can keep providing great content day after day. A third way to choose a topic for your Adsense blog is to use a keyword analysis tool such as Wordtracker or Adwords Analyzer to find out what people are looking for.

These tools can give you almost endless ideas for topics to write about that are popular and don’t have a lot of competition. If you can develop the ability to research and write about any subject, this is a great way to choose a topic for your Adsense blog that many people will want to read about. This will help you attract a high volume of traffic for your blog, so you can make more money from Adsense.

Google Adsense Profits

Are you a webmaster who needs funds to keep your website running? Or is your website the only way for you to earn income? Whichever you are, for as long as you are a webmaster or a web publisher and you need cash, affiliate marketing may work well for you. With affiliate marketing, you may get a lot of cash pouring into your bank account easily. And if your website is rich in great contents and you want to earn more profit, why not get into the Google Adsense program as well?...

Why Affiliate Marketing?
Well, simply because affiliate marketing is the easiest and probably the best way to earn profits online, unless otherwise you are a businessman and would rather sell your own products online than advertise other businessman’s products on your site. But even online retailers can benefit from affiliate marketing programs, because affiliate marketing actually works for merchants as well as it works for the affiliates.
Affiliate marketing, simply said, is a relationship or agreement made between two websites, with one site being the merchant’s website and the other being the affiliate’s site. In the relationship, the affiliate agrees to let the merchant advertise his products on the affiliate’s site. The merchant, on the other hand, would agree to pay the affiliate in whatever method they have agreed into. This would generally mean easy income for the affiliate, as he would do nothing but place the retailer’s ad on his site. This would also be very beneficial for the merchant, as getting affiliates to advertise their products would be a lot more affordable than hiring an advertising firm to promote their products.
There are a variety of methods on how the merchant would compensate the affiliate for his services, and for the webmaster, these methods simply translates to the method by which he would earn easy cash. Among the more common methods of compensation are the pay-per-click method, the pay-per-lead method, and the pay-per-sale method. The pay-per-click method is the method most preferred by affiliates, for their site’s visitor would only have to visit the advertiser’s site for them to gain money. The other two methods, on the other hand, are better preferred by merchants, as they would only have to compensate you if your visitor becomes one of their registrants or if the visitor would actually buy their products.
Getting much profit on affiliate marketing programs, however, does not depend so much on the compensation method is it does on the traffic generated by your site. A website that can attract more visitors would generally have the greater chance of profiting in affiliate marketing programs.
What about Google Adsense?
Google Adsense is actually some sort of an affiliate marketing program. In Google Adsense, Google act as the intermediary between the affiliates and the merchants. The merchant, or the advertiser, would simply sign up with Google and provide the latter with text ads pertaining to their products. These ads, which is actually a link to the advertiser’s website, would then appear on Google searches as well as on the websites owned by the affiliates, or by those webmasters who have signed up with the Google Adsense program.
While one can find a lot of similarities between Google Adsense and other affiliate marketing programs, you can also see a lot of differences. In Google Adsense, all the webmaster has to do is place a code on his website and Google takes care of the rest. The ads that Google would place on your site would generally be relevant to the content of your site. This would be advantageous both for you and for the advertiser, as the visitors of your site would more or less be actually interested with the products being advertised.
The Google Adsense program compensates the affiliate in a pay-per-click basis. The advertisers would pay Google a certain amount each time their ad on your site is clicked and Google would then forward this amount to you through checks, although only after Google have deducted their share of the amount. Google Adsense checks are usually delivered monthly. Also, the Google Adsense program provides webmasters with a tracking tool that allows you to monitor the earnings you actually get from a certain ad.
So, where do all of these lead us to?
Where else but to profits, profits and even more profits! Affiliate marketing programs and the Google Adsense program simply work, whether you are the merchant or the affiliate. For the merchant’s side, a lot of money can be saved if advertising effort is concentrated on affiliate marketing rather than on dealing with advertising firms. For the webmaster, you can easily gain a lot of profits just by doing what you do best, and that is by creating websites. And if you combine all your profits from both the Google Adsense program and other affiliate marketing programs, it would surely convert to a large amount of cash.

Everyone wants free tools that will help their site outperform all others and start pouring AdSense money into their coffers. What they're all forgetting is one of the basic premises that every business student learns:

"Put the profits back into the business."

Let's go back to the top three ways to increase your AdSense profits
and see how you can use your AdSense money to bring in more AdSense money.

1. Target higher paying keywords.
Google doesn't make it easy to find out how much you're making on specific keywords. In order to figure that out, you'll need to be watching your own analytics and running cross checks. Which ads are getting clicked on your pages? What keywords are pulling in those ads? What differences do you see when you fine tune your content?

Invest in a good ad tracker to help you keep a handle on which ads are doing well from your site - and then optimize your site for the keywords that pull those ads in. Since Google allows you to use AdSense on multiple sites, use what you learn to develop other sites that capitalize on those higher paying words.

2. Increase the click through rate.
One way to increase the click through rate is to work on delivering the right traffic to your site. This may mean investing in a little advertising of your own. Research your site analytics to follow site visitors from the referring link all the way through where they leave your site and watch for trends, then target your own advertising to capitalize on those trends by placing ads on sites that send you traffic that clicks through.

3. Increase your site traffic.
Obviously, the more people that visit your pages, the more chance there is that some of them will click through on some of the AdSense ads on your pages. You can buy traffic - but that's seldom the best solution. Instead, invest in a strategic combination of advertising your site on relevant sites and providing excellent content to keep visitors coming back to your site.

Adsense in a Flash

As most people with an online business know already, one of the best ways of making money from a website is with Google Adsense. If you have adsense ads on your website you know that it can be a good residual income provider without having to do a lot of extra work. It depends on how good your site is and how much traffic you can get. It also depends on the quality of your sites content, is it useful? is it interesting? You are also aware by now that one website with adsense ads is simply not enough to create a substantial residual income. What good is $2 a day? it is not much of a residual income, and how long did it take you to get the site up an running?..

We all know that when it comes to adsense that it's a numbers game i.e. the more websites you have out there means more revenue gained. One way of squeezing more revenue from adsense is to create more and more adsense websites. The idea is to keep building adsense websites and get them out there until you are satisfied with your monthly income, it might take 10, 20, or even 50 adsense websites until you are earning a substantial income from adsense alone.

You are probably thinking right now: How in the world am I supposed to create 50 websites with adsense on them when it took me 3 months to create one?
Well there is a way and it is so cool that you will laugh and be amazed when you are doing it. You don't even need a domain, well, you need one domain and just create folders for the other ones based on your domain website. You only need to create one page websites with adsense on them, and they are all hosted with your web host within your one real domain.

You can create an adsense website in 15 minutes, and as time goes on and you become more efficient you'll be turning out adsense websites in 5 to 10 minutes, as many as you like to turn out a day. It is so simple.

Now you are probably thinking: Tell me how I can create an adsense website in 15 minutes and have it up and running generating revenue for me?

Here is a quote that I came up with a few years ago that you may be able to use and make sense of, It certainly helped me to get things done. It's called "DO IT" - It's better to do it than not to do it, because if you don't do it, you'll be sorry you didn't, but when you've done it, you'll be glad you did it - So Do IT.

Like anything in life, the thought of doing something worth while and constructive is much worse than the actual application. The trick is to just go ahead and do it, when it's finished you'll be glad you did it.

It's about time you started to increase your adsense earnings 10 fold and beyond.

Website For Adsense

A question even more asked, could be: What is better to use Adsense on, a blog or a website? But, let's first talk about more fundamental things, such as: What is a good website in general?.........

How do we choose a theme?
Will the theme of my website attract many visitors(traffic)?
How do I give value to the visitor?
Am I passionate about the topic of my website?
Will Google accept or decline my website?
Do I put Adsense ads on it from the first day?

Maybe these questions are not written in the good order, but we have to take them in consideration before we go ahead and put some crappy website on the net, with nothing useful on it. We even ask ourselves, why we are not succeeding to make revenue from Adsense ads.

So, first of all we have to determine what theme we will choose for our website or blog. The next question pops up and says:

How do we choose a theme?

To make things easier for us we will choose a theme that we are interested in or even passionate about. That way we will not easily fall in a state of procrastination.

Will the theme of my website attract many visitors?

To be able to know that, we will do a search in the search-engines typing our theme within quotes. The number of competing websites will tell us that it will either be easy or difficult to rank for the main 'keywords' of our website. However choosing long-tail keywords(or multiple keyword phrases) will bring up less competing websites and make it easier to rank for those 2 or 3 word phrases.

How do we offer value to the visitor?

If we are passionate about a topic we will put more effort in the creation of our website and be able to offer much more value to the visitor. We will have more basic knowledge about the topic. This will make it easier for us to create content to publish on our website. Very often when your theme has something to do with your hobby or your job you will be able to write enough unique content with the knowledge you already have about the subject.

Will
Google accept or decline my website ?

To know that we will have to find out what Google expects from an Adsense publisher. Google wants you to deliver a complete website that offers information that is relevant to what the searcher asks for in the search-box on the page of the search-engine.

Google gives more value to a website that offers unique and fresh content. Content that is not written by a software application, but that reads like a human has written it.

In addition the website will be well structured and display a menu with text-links to other pages in the website with related content and information about the webmaster, including contact information. Doing the above will help you to be accepted for the Google Adsense program easily.

Do I put Adsense ads on my website from the first day?

Actually it is not a good idea to start displaying Adsense ads right away. The most successful websites are those with a history of offering good solid information to the visitors. Having incoming links from high PR directories and important websites related to the theme of the websites. Having the ads on your website could form a barrier for webmasters of authority sites or directories to create links to your website, because they could have the impression that your only goal is to earn revenue from the ads instead of offering quality content to the visitor.

A good idea would be to start building your website as described above. Continue offering good information and building links with high PR and authority sites until your site has been indexed by Google and displays it on the first page for most of your keyword phrases.

After that you can start to monetize your website with the Google Adsense ads. At that time you will have the right visitors to your website that are interested in the theme of your website and also in the titles that the ads display. In addition you will have enough traffic to make a decent amount of money from the Adsense ads.

In conclusion it is important to maintain the hard work that is necessary to keep growing your website with unique content related to the theme of your website. The traffic will grow slowly but sure and as a result your Adsense revenue will grow too.

Get Money with AdSense Sites

If you are in Internet marketing or have been reading the ads all over the Internet about how to make money from your website you can't have missed all the talk of AdSense. This is one of Google's main revenue generators and over the few years it has been around has made quite a few early adopters a lot of money.http://www.google.com/adsense
Google makes a percentage of the cost of the ads and the website owner where the ads show up makes the remaining percentage. The AdSense ads are actually the ads placed through Google's AdWords Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising program......

Unfortunately as with all good things it seems, the money making potential seems to have diminished for the majority of those trying to make a go of AdSense as a viable money maker. That is not to say you can't make money off the AdSense program, it's just not as easy as it apparently was. Unfortunately I was not one of those who made good money off AdSense ads.

Regardless of all the ads promoting really big money from AdSense and the fact that there are still people collecting big profits from it, let's look at it through the eyes of someone just getting into the program in earnest. Someone like many of us that do not have a large source of traffic, or maybe even no traffic to sites we want to add AdSense to. In many cases we might have sites made specifically to be monetized with AdSense. Is it worthwhile to have sites specifically designed to make its income from AdSense ads? I say sites because it is not logical to think someone with a site that does not yet have a huge amount of traffic to believe they can make lots of money from a single site with AdSense on it.www.google.com/adsense

Not going into details, the Google AdSense program is where a website owner has joined the AdSense program and allows Google to place AdSense ads on their website. When a visitor to the website clicks on an AdSense ad the website owner makes a few cents to many dollars from that click. How much you make is dependent on several factors such as the market the ad is trying to capture clicks from, the efficiency of the ad, the keywords the ad is focusing on and other factors. Certain types of ads almost always pay more per click than others. Insurance, loans, and finance ads pay a lot more than an ad for garden tools or gift baskets or paper plates, etc. would pay.

Real Life Example

I decided to give AdSense a try and see if I could make an average of $5 a day from a site designed to be monetized with AdSense ads. The sites are essentially sites with articles on them based on the theme of the site. I wrote some of the articles but purchased most of them. Articles to be added to the sites in the future will be mostly purchased due to lack of time to write articles myself. They are the content of the sites. The sites are mostly written in html, although I do have a few that are php coded sites.www.google.com/adsense

On the pages with the articles are the AdSense ads, usually three blocks of ads on a page. The sites are small with most being about nine to 15 pages total. Adding articles on a regular basis will slowly build up the sites over time which is what the search engines want to see. I started with twenty new AdSense sites and three older blog sites I already had, plus two new portal sites that had no traffic going to them. All sites were monetized with AdSense.

The AdSense sites cost nothing, but the few articles on each site cost about eight dollars each. Articles can cost from about twenty-five cents to fifteen dollars or more depending on the source and quality. The lower cost articles require considerable rewriting so as not to cause your article to be considered a duplicate article and incur a so-called duplicate content penalty.

Allowing for placing five articles a month on a site plus some miscellaneous costs like hosting, domain name, software, and potential maintenance costs, a fifty dollar monthly cost per site is incurred. Yes you could write all or most of the articles yourself, but that is not practical if you have many sites and is very time consuming. So I am discounting that solution as impractical if you have many sites. So to break even on these types of AdSense sites each site needs to make about $50 a month. That’s an average of $1.70 a day.www.google.com/adsense

A measly $1.70 a day, that should be easy for a site to make. Maybe it is, but it is heavily dependent on the traffic to the site and the corresponding clicks on the AdSense ads that result from it. To put things in perspective, look at the results of my twenty AdSense sites, three blogs, and two portal sites. All sites except the three older sites have been up slightly over three months. I started getting a few links to each site just this past month.

Real Life Terrible Results

Only last month did I start getting links to any of the sites. I am averaging about $1 a day from all twenty-five sites together. That’s about $25 a month total, far less than break even cost. I just checked today and have made $50.55 for this current month, month four for most sites. That's about one twenty-fifth of what I need to break even for the sites. Half the money came from the twenty AdSense sites, with the rest from the other five sites. There are still two more days left in this month.

I believe the results will continue to improve as long as I add articles and get links to the sites. It is a long way to go until the sites break even, if they ever do, so I am not holding my breath. Although these results are terrible, in my opinion, it must be mentioned that I am doing this part-time and only recently has there been an effort to get links to the sites. If it had been a full-time effort (and it could easily have been) then the results would seem even worse. I have totally ignored the effort (which has been considerable) in getting the sites up and working properly, correcting and adding the articles and revising the links for each new article I added to the site.

I do have software that would easily generate such sites, but decided not to use it due to leaving footprints and having the sites considered spam sites by Google or the other two top search engines. From the looks of it right now it's too early to make an accurate judgment as to whether the sites will be worthwhile. I tend to think the effort is too great the way my sites are set up now and the cost of the articles too high to make a decent long term profit. I figure I need to revise how the articles are added and probably get the cost of the articles down a lot more, to less than half what I am paying now to have a fair chance to break even, let along make a profit.

Is AdSense Worthwhile for Beginners?

So the question, can beginners make money with AdSense sites cannot be answered yet with any accuracy from my results so far. On the surface it appears the answer is no, not if following my route. Only if extraordinary amounts of traffic can be obtained does it look like my sites will make any decent money from AdSense. Probably another, a better approach, will be necessary and a lot more pages with AdSense ads on it will be required to be able to make any significant money. I suspect I will need at least 50 to 100, or more, articles per site to have a fair chance of creating a small part-time equivalent income from the sites.www.google.com/adsense

If you consider an average cost of six dollars for an article, and that is a very low cost for a new article, and still the same five articles a month, with just half the estimated ten dollars monthly miscellaneous costs being only five dollars, the thirty-five dollar monthly cost per site still is difficult to conceive making even that much from the poor results experienced so far. Only time will tell whether the effort will be worthwhile.

I am already changing my html sites so they will be easier and faster to add the new articles. Unfortunately that may cause me to effectively start over with my AdSense earnings since the links will be different and any pages already indexed will have to be re-indexed again since I am changing the sites little by little to php sites. I did something similar several months ago to a single larger site and even months later over 500 of those original pages were still indexed even though they had been off the site for many months.

If you agree it's difficult for a beginner to make money with AdSense or if you have made a worthwhile AdSense profit in a short time period please enter your opinion on www.cackel.com if you would like to share your success or failure. I would like to see other views on this topic, especially those who have made a decent return on non-directory type AdSense sites within a reasonably short period of time.www.google.com/adsense

Ads That Make You Money

Imagine... being paid checks by the largest and most popular search engine, simply for displaying a few ads on your website for FREE?

Well, this is exactly what the Google Adsense program is all about! And when you think about it, it's a revolutionary way of earning yourself a useful online side income. But let's back up a bit...

In the past, many webmasters displayed ads from various companies, via pop-ups, banners, pop-ins and pop-unders. However, visitors to these sites soon got tired of these advertising methods - I mean, who'd like to go to a website where they'd have to close pop-up windows every other minute? This resulted in a dramatic loss of traffic, and in turn made many webmasters to lose profits.

That's when Google announced a novel program – Google Adsense. Instead of having to use banners and pop-ups to advertise companies and gain a commission, website publishers could now earn a decent profit by displaying unobtrusive text ads on the content pages of their website. Since the ads displayed were often directly related to what your visitors are looking for on your site, you had a way to both monetize and subtly enhance your web content.

One of the main reasons for its popularity, is the fact that the Google Adsense program is incredibly accurate. By stepping beyond the boundaries of simple keyword matching, it has quickly become one of the most prominent tools to display accurate advertisements. A list of keywords is still used as the basis of triggering ads, but complex algorithms now ensure that non-relevant ads no longer show up on your site.

Google Adsense also gives you the option to be selective about the type of ads you wish to display. This helps you direct your visitors towards certain type of products and avoid non-relevant or competitor ads. To make it possible for everyone to integrate Adsense into their sites, the program offers a wide variety of settings that allow you to alter the ads' size and appearance.

Google offers their Adsense program to just about all website owners. After signing up for the program, you'll receive an HTML/ XML code to paste on all of your web pages. Then, Google will dynamically generate ads that are relevant to your web content. Whenever a visitor clicks on one of the Adsense ads on your site, Google credits your account with a percentage of money that was paid by the advertiser for that ad.

To sign up for this terrific program, hop over to http://www.google.com/adsense It's super easy to set up - just a few clicks of your mouse and you're ready to go! Once you start displaying targeted Google Adsense ads on your website, you can expect to generate a sizable income depending on the traffic flow to your site and how many visitors actually click on the ads.http://www.OnlineBizPromo.com

Website Using Google Adsense

If you are just starting online with your first website, you have quite a learning curve in front of you. I know that your learning curve is still long, because I have been making money online for years, and I am still learning new stuff everyday.

Every year, more people are coming online. And every year, people struggle to figure out how to tap into the economic engine powered by the Internet. The one thing that newcomers to the Internet frequently fail to realize is that those of us, who are making the most money online, spent years learning our trades....

The good news is that Internet newcomers have one major advantage that my mentors and myself did not have when we started our online enterprises. The newcomers have people like us who are willing to teach others what they have learned.

First And Most Important Lesson To Learn

There are three kinds of commercial websites on the Internet: product/service merchants, advertising providers, and non-profit websites.

Now, the Red Cross and the United Way are non-profit websites by choice and mission. But, the majority of non-profit websites on the Internet were designed to be for-profit websites, but the website owner will have been lucky to have earned enough to pay their web hosting costs.

By the end of this article, I hope that I will have provided you enough information to be able to turn any non-profit website into a profit generating machine.

Merchants sell services. They also sell products made by others or themselves. Some merchants produce their own informational books and e-books, on a wide variety of topics.

Many people make the mistake of assuming that they do not know anything of value that other people would want to know. But, that just isn't true. Call me an optimist if you will, but I believe everyone knows something that other people would be willing to pay a certain amount of money to learn.

Ii is a fact that some of the smartest online entrepreneurs I know make a lot of money by writing and selling books and e-books, on topics ranging from cryptograms (http://www.cryptogramsbylouise.com/), to how-to cure acid reflux (http://www.refluxgoneforever.com/), to finding the hero within (http://www.herosoul.com/), to how to be more successful with an online business.

I have bought many e-books and I have to say that some were better than others, but all of them helped me to learn what I needed to know in order to be successful with whatever endeavor I was undertaking.

Advertising Providers build websites with the intent of attracting a huge and loyal audience, so that advertisers will consider their website to be a good place to spend their advertising dollars.

In those dark days before Google Adsense (http://adsense.Google.com) and Yahoo's Publisher Network (http://publisher.yahoo.com/), we little guys were just tough out-of-luck if we wanted to sell our advertising space through a larger network of advertisers.

I remember having a website that was finally serving one thousand unique page views per day, or 30,000 page views per month. I remember thinking that it was time for me to see whom I could sell advertising space. So, I started doing my research.

I looked at one advertising network, and then another, and another. Without fail, most advertising networks required one million page views per month in order for a website to participate in their network. I was just poop out of luck.

So, I started advertising space on my site to my visitors. I sold some advertising, but I did not make a living doing it. The main issue here is that the people on my site are looking to learn about travel and other things, and advertisers generally spend their time on sites learning about doing business online.

Then in 2003, it all changed with the rollout of Google Adsense. Suddenly, all I needed to do was to apply to participate in Google's program. On approval, I could add one little piece of javascript code to my website, and I could start earning money from Google immediately, by making their client's advertising available on my own website.

Finally, my information website had a method for earning money that did not require for me to spend all of my waking hours chasing one sale after another.

Some Background

When I started my first online business, I had set up an Yahoo store (http://www.yahoo.com). I did very well with it, but after a couple years, I realized that I did not want to keep doing the same thing for the rest of my life.

Three rooms of my home were committed to storing merchandise that I was buying for resale. When I made a product purchase, I had to take photos and then sit down to my computer, upload the image and make an appropriate product description. Then I had to spend all of my spare time, making new listings at Yahoo and running to the post office to ship the merchandise I had sold.

One day I realized that the reason I had started my business is to provide my family a better standard of living. I had accomplished that goal, at the cost of time with my family. I was literally working from the moment I got out of bed, until I collapsed into my bed at the end of the day.

After parting ways with Yahoo, I researched other profit models and settled on a membership site. In order to be successful with a membership website, one must be willing and able to add new good quality content to the website at least three or four times per week. That is a job in itself.

While my membership site did well monetarily, I found myself in a position similar to when I had my Yahoo store. I was spending all of my spare time with my business and not my family.

Finally, I Wrapped My Head Around The Solution

What I needed for myself was a website where I could sell other people's products and services, then let the other person handle the entire process of collecting the money and delivering the product or service. I needed to build my business in such a way that I could build my website, when I wanted to invest the time, and I could collect my checks at the end of the month.

The advertising website is the best kind of site to have when your goals are the same as mine.

So, I embarked on building a website that had information on a wide variety of topics.

Three years after I started my current website, Google launched their Adsense program. I applied to Google's Adsense program and was accepted within just a few days. I then applied my Google Adsense code to my website.

Over the years, I have been building links to my website so that people could find me. The articles and directory links have produced good traffic results for me on a consistent basis, since I started the process of building them.

The Next Lesson Can Literally Double And Triple Your Income

When you undertake to design a website that will host advertising, don't be shy about it!

• Don't stick your advertising in a corner somewhere; • Don't design your advertising to look like something other than an advertisement; • Don't be afraid to test your advertising placement; • Don't be afraid to tell people that they can buy advertising on your website; • Don't be afraid to charge good money to advertisers to have a placement on your website.

Don't be afraid and don't be shy. Your reason for putting advertising on your website is to give YOU a way to make money from your work. But, in order to keep your advertisers happy, you need to make sure that they get a good return for their investment.

When you can help your advertisers make money, then you will by extension earn money from your website. It is a beautiful concept; when I help put money in my advertiser's pockets, they put money in my pocket.

Specific Tips To Maximize Your Advertising Click-Through Rates (CTRs)

The default link color on the Internet is blue; so make the links in your advertising blue.

The default text color on the Internet is black; so make the text in your advertisement black or whatever color is the default text color on your website.

Make your advertisement block stand out from the rest of the content on the page. Putting your ads directly in your visitor's face is good. Within a text block, I have found the 300x250 to be the most effective ad block size. To see an example of the 300x250 text block in action, view my blog here: http://www.clintondouglasiv.com

Other ad block sizes that we have seen good results include: the 728x90 leaderboard, 468x60 banner, and the160x600 wide skyscraper.

Be The Next Advertising Success Story

I advised a friend of mine to make these kinds of changes on his own website. He already had great traffic, but he was not making as much money as I thought he should be making.

On my suggestion, he changed his Google ads from the bottom of his left sidebar to the main part of his pages. He told me that his CTR increased from 0.8% to 2.4%. I told him to change his ads from the 468x15 link unit to the 468x60 banner ad. He told me that his CTR increased from 2.4% to 4.7%. Then I told him to change his links from black to blue. Within just a few weeks, he reported back to me that his click-through rates jumped again, this time from 4.7% to 7.8%. He even reported that on some individual days, his new layout generated as high as 11.4% CTRs.

On my friend's website, his CTR jumped from 0.8% where it had been for a couple years, since he started using Google Adsense, to 7.8% on average. While most webmasters will see an average increase of two- to three-times, my friend has experienced a nearly tenfold (+9.75%) increase in his advertising revenue through that website.

What could you do with ten times more advertising revenue from your website? You will never know until you implement these kinds of changes on your website to increase your own advertising revenue.http://online-empire.vasrue.com/

Profit with Google adsense

I like Google Adsense. It contributes a nice little chunk of change to my income each and every month. That said, I don't and won't follow the lead of those whose sites earn only through Google Adsense. What happens when their Adsense accounts are shut down by Google? It does happen, and they're left scrambling to replace lost income!Don't believe me?.....
Try clicking on your own site's Google Adsense links once or twice and see how fast Google shuts down your Adsense account. (No, don't really do that!)

Does it make sense to build an entire site around financial products to make a few bucks on Adsense clicks, when you can earn up to $40 for a completed credit card application?
Not to me, it doesn't.I use Google Adsense to supplement my affiliate income, not replace it.
Basically, it comes down to value. Value for you, and value for your visitors.
Sites that monetize only with Adsense aren't getting real value from their site's real estate.
Too, it's important to me that my visitors find information of value to them on my sites, and I do that by offering balanced product reviews and articles on the related topic.
f after reading my material, they're not interested in the product offerings, then perhaps they'll see an Adwords ad that captures their interest.
Placing Google Adsense on your site is a strategy that will put money in your pockets even if your visitors don't buy.
However, in the same way you need to be smart about choosing lucrative affiliate programs, you also want to do your homework when monetizing topics with Adsense.
For example, I was recently re-reading some information about under-represented niche topics with huge markets. One of the topics suggested as a winner was 'snakes'.I found that hard to believe, so I did my own research. The term 'snakes' had 152,857 searches at Overture and its partners in January, so yes, that's a pretty sizeable interest in 'snakes'.
OK, but who's your market? Kids looking for snake pictures for a school project? People who want to buy snakes? Someone who wants to visit Snake River?
What are you going to sell? Snakes? The game, 'Snake'? A $10 book on which you make a 15% commission? A $60 poster from allposters.com on which you earn a 30% commission seemed to be the best bet, but how many people want to pay $60 for snake posters?
To me, that's not enough interest or commission potential to build a site around 'snakes'.
So, what about incorporating Adsense to boost potential profitability?
Well, search Google for 'snakes'. See what comes up in the Google Adwords column?
NOTHING!if you want to monetize with Adsense, you have to pick topics whose Adwords advertisers spend mega-bucks per click.
How do you figure out what those topics are?Easy!
If you haven't already done so, open up a Google Adwords account and create a new campaign. Add a list of keywords (one niche topic at a time), then click on 'estimate traffic'. The resulting page will show you the average cost per click for each keyword.
Make note of the most expensive words in that list and optimize your pages for those phrases.
THAT's how you'll really profit with Google Adsense.

Warning! Warning! Warning!

Once you find a lucrative topic that is projected to cost you $36,987.57 per day, don't forget to pause that campaign, or delete it altogether.http://www.adsensesoftware.com
